Nanny A accepted our offer -- we're excited! Of the 3 ladies we interviewed, she was far & away the most engaging & personable. You can easily see how much she loves children... she & Baby S warmed to each other immediately. We were given lots of advice, but the most meaningful was "trust your gut." (thanks, Sonja!)
We did, and we are confident that Baby S and Nanny A have many good times ahead together. One day, I hope to be home with Baby S, (and any future bambina/o down the road... agh!) but for now, this is the right decision for us.
