I am very pleased to announce the arrival of one Baby Sister, born on what is apparently the most popular birthday of the year -- October 5th. Who knew?! We welcomed her into our arms at 7:37am -- all 9 pounds, 1 ounce of her (a matter I will discuss in more detail later -- YOWZA) and the world hasn't been the same since.
I must admit there were times during the pregnancy when I honestly wondered if it would be possible to love another child as much as I love my first born.
What I discovered in a matter of moments is that the heart only expands even more.
The heart knows no bounds. I'm in love.

Congrats! You'll be amazed at how much you can get done while breastfeeding but it's also wonderful to just enjoy the moments. All of them.

Congratulations!
And congratulations on your SITS day. I hope it's a great day for you.
I remember typing one-handed while nursing my babies. It's amazing how good you can get at it. If there's one thing we women are it's adaptable.
Congratulations on your new baby! So precious. I didnt know that about 10/05, but it's my best friend's birthday too! :)

Congratulations on your new baby girl. She is lovely and it's amazing to know the moment when you realize you can love your children so differently yet with equal magnitude. She is a precious gift to share with your readers on your SITs day and now your little S can be a big sister which is fun for you and her!
Congrats on your SITS day AND your gorgeous baby! What a blessing!
I heart NYC!!!
She's a sweetie and look at that hair, I love newborns with lots of dark hair.
Congratulations on another beautiful girl! I totally remember the single-handed typing while breastfeeding days!
Congratulations!! I am beyond excited for you and your family! Enjoy every minute!!! xoxo
I just happened to be in a baby store today shopping for your girls when I saw some strange looking device that straps to your chest so you can pump and breastfeed while you type. I laughed out loud.
A new baby AND a SITS day? Wow! She's adorable, and you look way too good to have just delivered a baby. Congrats!
YAY!!! Congrats, that is so exciting. Back to the baby schedule.
She's beautiful and you look so radiant in this photo :)
Oh Ellen, congratulations!!!! She is BEAUTIFUL!!! I agree, I'll take a nice, chunky, healthy baby over a tiny little one any day (my first was 8.14 and Bryce quite smaller, and that was a little scary for us).
I so agree with this statement: "What I discovered in a matter of moments is that the heart only expands even more." Because i had those same fears/concerns when i was pregnant with the second, but once he was born i realized just how much love i have in my heart to give!!!
