The end of summer is quickly approaching, and I don't know about you, but we are in a mad dash to enjoy every last bit of it. In just a few short weeks, Millie will begin pre-k (waah!) and a new schedule will begin. We'll have a lot less free time on our hands, and while I'm not complaining about that... I'm suddenly feeling like time is truly of the essence. Before we adjust to a new routine of going to bed and getting up earlier, new friends at school and a change in temperature, we're taking advantage of some of our favorite NYC activities.
No summer is complete without a trip to the Bronx Zoo -- sharing a few of our photos from our visit this past weekend, including their "Dinosaur Safari" ride and exhibit (now through September 8th) -- fun times!
Treasure these last lovely days of summer...

My boys would love this! We were thinking of a Fall trip to the city- may need to get there a little earlier! :)
My daughter just reached the age where she can start Pre-K and I definitely the know the 'Time of the Essence' feeling. I feel like I blinked and overnight she transformed into a 4 year old.
So cute! You're so lucky to live so close to the zoo!
Millie must have loved that dinosaur ride!
